BBQ Chicken Drumsticks

bbqdrum_1

I had some rub left over from some pulled pork I made a couple weeks ago.  I decided to use some of it up on some chicken drumsticks I had in the refrigerator.

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup pulled pork rub
  • 1/4 cup North Carolina BBQ Sauce (I used Archer Farms from Target)
  • 6 chicken drumsticks

Instructions:

  1. 2 – 4 hours before cooking, spread on a good coating of rub on the chicken and place back in the refrigerator.
  2. Prepare grill and heat to about 350 degrees.
  3. Place chicken on grill over direct heat.
  4. After 10 minutes flip over the chicken and place BBQ sauce on cooked side of chicken.
  5. After about 10 more minutes flip the chicken and place BBQ sauce on other side.
  6. Cook till chicken is cooked through out.

This chicken turned out great, it had a great kick to it and will probably use the rest of the rub on chicken.
