I had some rub left over from some pulled pork I made a couple weeks ago. I decided to use some of it up on some chicken drumsticks I had in the refrigerator.
Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup pulled pork rub
- 1/4 cup North Carolina BBQ Sauce (I used Archer Farms from Target)
- 6 chicken drumsticks
Instructions:
- 2 – 4 hours before cooking, spread on a good coating of rub on the chicken and place back in the refrigerator.
- Prepare grill and heat to about 350 degrees.
- Place chicken on grill over direct heat.
- After 10 minutes flip over the chicken and place BBQ sauce on cooked side of chicken.
- After about 10 more minutes flip the chicken and place BBQ sauce on other side.
- Cook till chicken is cooked through out.
This chicken turned out great, it had a great kick to it and will probably use the rest of the rub on chicken.

Yum, those look delicious!
looks great.
I clicked the pulled pork rub link and it came up with a server error, thought you may want to know.
This recipe looks really good. I think I’ll try it on my next picnic.
