I needed to make 7 more batches of brine today, and decided to try a new way (again) of chilling the brine. This time, I decided to use a cooler full of ice and pack a pot in the ice to get it cool. This worked like a champ today. So far I have packed away 5 bags of brine, about to do another and put another batch in the ice bath. I have only been going since about 1:30 P.M. today and took about an hour break to run some errands. So within the last 4 hours, I have done a lot of brine making.
